Arc takes its name from Archimedes, the ancient Greek inventor. In Chinese, I call this section “Bathtub Meditations,” after the famous story of his discovery of the principle of buoyancy while taking a bath—a story whose historical accuracy is doubtful.

Arc can also stand for “archive.” This is where I will keep thoughts and reflections that have not yet formed a coherent whole.

Inspired by Notion pages, this section will grow as I add more writing to a single main page, rather than listing every title side by side as in Aris. I find this a useful way to organize my thoughts.
